Vanderly & Co is my little laser cutting and engraving shop that’s still growing. You’ll find a collection of pieces I love creating, from designs laser cut in-house to pieces I’ve picked out to personalize.

The name Vanderly & Co was inspired by my two little sunshines and they’re a big reminder of why I started this journey in the first place.

So, how did I get here?

It started in July 2026, when I learned that my time at the corporate job I’d held for years would be coming to an end in the fall. It sent me on an emotional ride, for sure. There was a lot of wondering, reflecting and trying to figure out, “What’s next?” And as cliché as it sounds, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I’ve always tried to look at life with the glass half full...okay, if I’m being honest, closer to 70% full.

One day, while talking with my parents, my mom mentioned that when my dad retires, he would love to sell some of his handmade wood pieces using a laser cutter and engraver my brother had given him (my dad is incredibly talented, by the way). There was also a smaller laser engraver sitting at home that had barely been used. And that conversation sparked something.

I took my dad’s love of woodworking, saw an opportunity we could make our own and ran with it. Part of me hoped I could build something he might enjoy being a part of when he’s ready. And let’s be honest, I was trying to create a new path for myself too.

It gave me a way to connect with my family and start creating again. And that’s how Vanderly & Co was born.

Today, I create personalized gifts and keepsakes, both in my shop and at live engraving events. I’m still learning what you love, discovering what I love making, and adding new pieces along the way. I hope you’ll find something that feels like you or reminds you of someone you love.

I owe a huge thank you to my husband, family, and friends who have supported me throughout this adventure. Because of y’all, I’ve been able to bring that creative part of myself back to life and turn it into something real.
